How To Set A Booking Reminder
Topics covered in this tutorial: In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to set a booking reminder. So if there's a forthcoming booking that you would like a reminder for - there's one here in room five later this evening - we simply click it and then you'll see there's a little "Add Reminder" icon here. We click that, and "A reminder this booking has been added to my messages". You'll see in the toolbar the "My Messages" icon now has a little number to show me that there's one message. So I click that and you'll see in the reminder section, there's the reminder of our booking. Now in the settings section at the bottom - "Send booking reminders as calendar events to my email" - If this is selected then every time you add a booking reminder, MIDAS will also email it to your email address as a calendar event, allowing you to instantly add it to your Outlook or Thunderbird or similar calendar. If the "Show my messages pop up on login" option is selected then the next time you log in you'll also see your reminders. So let's log out and let's log back in again and you'll see there we go MIDAS has reminded me of that booking.
