How To Add Repetitive Bookings
Topics covered in this tutorial: In this tutorial I'm going to show you how you can add repetitive or recurring bookings to MIDAS. So let's say we want to add a booking into Room 2 from 11am till 2pm. We click and drag across the grid, and you can see it's come pre-selected with the date we were on which is the 22nd of May. Now if we click this little icon here, it will open a dialog allowing us to generate multiple dates. So we can say right, let's repeat this booking every Monday, and we'll repeat it for the next 8 weeks, and we click OK and when we do you'll see that MIDAS automatically then generates all those dates on the Monday for the next 8 weeks. So we can then continue to add that booking and there's our eight dates there. "Book All Available", and there we go you can see we have one on Monday the 22nd. If I switch to the 29th there it is again. Again, if I switch to the 5th there it is again, and so forth. I'll show you another example as well, so let's go to the 1st of June and let's add a booking in Room 5 from 9am until 11am. So we open up the repetitive date generator. Now this time instead of repeating "Every" we'll say, right, let's repeat on the last Thursday. So that's last Thursday of every month for the next six months, and you'll see we have six dates that have been pre-selected for us which are the last Thursdays in each of the months for the next six months. And again we can add that as before. Let's make this an external booking as well, let's colorize it red. There's our six dates they're all available which is good so we click "Book All Available" and so on the last Thursday of every month we should see this booking. So that's the last Thursday in June. Let's go to July and select the last Thursday which is the 27th. And let's go into August and that's the 31st and there it is again.
