How To Add Multiple Individual Bookings
Topics covered in this tutorial: In this tutorial show you how you can add bookings to multiple discreet dates. So let's start by adding a booking to Room 6 on a Monday from 8am till 9am. So we click and drag, and you can see Room 6 is selected on Monday the 22nd between 8 and 9am. Let's say we also want to add that booking on a Wednesday and a Friday that week. We hold down the 'Ctrl' key on our keyboard - or if you're on a Mac it's the Command key - and that then allows us to select multiple dates in the calendar. So you can see I've selected the 22nd, the 24th, and the 26th and they're listed here. So now let's add details of the clients so it's going to be for John Smith. "Check Availability and Book", and you'll see MIDAS checks availability for those times on all three dates we selected. And if we go "Book All Available", MIDAS has then added a booking on the 22nd, and if I switch to a 7 day view, you'll see the bookings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Similarly, MIDAS can allow you to add multiple discrete bookings to multiple venues. So let's go back to our single day view, and let's add a booking in Room 5 from 9:00 till 11:00. We'll do this one on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. So again to select those those multiple days, I'm just holding down the Ctrl key on my keyboard. And I'm also going to add that into Room 7 as well as Room 5, so this will now add a total of ten bookings, because we've selected five dates and two venues. We'll make this one for Jane Doe, and let's give it a color as well so we can easily see it. So there are our various date of the venue combinations at the times we've specified. We click "Book All Available", and as you can see on the Monday, it's added the booking to Room 5 and Room 7, and if I switch to a 5 day view, you can see our ten bookings, two a day for five days.
