What's included in a MIDAS subscription?

We offer two editions of our MIDAS room booking system; a "cloud" hosted edition and a "self" hosted edition.

The "self" hosted edition may be downloaded, installed, and run from your own web server.

The "cloud" hosted edition runs on our cloud infrastructure.

The differences between these two editions may be viewed in our software comparison.

Depending upon the edition chosen, the following subscriptions are relevant:

Self-Hosted Edition

If you purchase a "self" hosted edition of our software (which is a one-time cost!), you may also optionally take out a "Support Subscription" for a small annual fee. This subscription has the following features and benefits:

Access to Priority Support

Cloud-Hosted Edition

All "cloud" hosted subscriptions plans include the following features and benefits:

All software updates automatically applied

Access to Priority Support

In summary, a MIDAS "subscription" is an integral part of a "cloud" hosted MIDAS system. For "self" hosted MIDAS systems however, the subscription component is optional. However if you choose a self-hosted system, we would strongly advise considering taking out a support subscription to ensure your system remains up to date and that you have access to Priority Support.
