Hello and welcome to MIDAS tutorials.

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how you can print a receipt.

So on screen here I have an invoice, and as you can see from the status it's been paid in full.

So if I wish to print a receipt, either for my own records, or for the client, I can click the print icon here.

MIDAS will then ask if we wish to print out a copy of the original invoice or if we wish to print a receipt.

So in this case I want to print a receipt.

A print window will and open allowing me to print the receipt to my printer, or if you're running Windows 10, or if you have a PDF printer installed, then you can also save the receipt as a PDF file.

I'm just going to cancel this window, and behind it you'll see that's what would be sent to our printer, and as you see the word "invoice" has been replaced with the word "receipt".

And this uses a different template as well, so whereas our standard invoice template at the bottom says "payment terms strictly 30 days from date of invoice", our receipt template shows "received with thanks" and the date when he was paid.

Both these templates are customizable and they're covered in some of our other video tutorials.

Thanks for watching and be sure to check out some of our other video tutorials online.
