Hello and welcome to MIDAS tutorials.

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to quickly add a new venue to MIDAS.

Now the very first time you log into MIDAS, you'll see that those presently no venues set up, so we click the "Add Venue" link.

We then proceed to enter a name for our venue - so we'll call this one "Room 1".

We set the maximum capacity - that's the number of people this room can accommodate.

In this case we'll set 100, and we click "Save Changes" and you'll see settings have been saved, and our venue appears in the venue list here.

If we go back to the booking grid, which we can do by clicking this little icon here, you'll see we now have Room 1 with a capacity of 100.

To add further venues to MIDAS, you do that via MIDAS Admin Options - which is this toolbar icon - and you select "Manage Venues" from the drop-down.

To add an additional venue we simply click "New Venue" and then set the details here - Room 2, and the capacity of Room 2 - let's say is 200.

Save Changes, and then back in our booking grid you'll see we now have two venues.
