Why am I prompted to open/save a file named "index.pl" after install, rather than being transferred to the login screen?This issue can be caused if your web server doesn't currently allow Perl (CGI) scripts to be executed in the server directory to where you have installed your self-hosted MIDAS booking system.
On some web server configurations, CGI is restricted by default to only be executable from within the server's "cgi-bin" (or equivalent) directory.
To resolve, you'll need to either install your MIDAS booking system to a location which does permit the execution of CGI, or enable CGI execution for the current directory you've installed your self-hosted MIDAS booking system to.
