
Can I migrate between "self" and "cloud" hosted editions?
Migrating from "Cloud" to "Self" hosted
If you're currently subscribed to a "cloud-hosted" edition of our room scheduling software and wish to switch to a "self-hosted" MIDAS system, you will need to purchase a new "self-hosted" MIDAS system.
Once purchased, please contact us to request a copy of the existing data/settings from your cloud-hosted system. You'll then be able to import this data into your new self-hosted booking system to continue in your new system.
Migrating from "Self" to "Cloud" hosted
If you've previously purchased a "self-hosted" MIDAS system and now wish to switch to a "cloud-hosted" MIDAS system, you will need to purchase to a new "cloud-hosted" MIDAS subscription.
Once subscribed, please contact us for assistance in migrating the data/settings from your self-hosted MIDAS system over to your new cloud-hosted system.
Please note that data can only be migrated between editions if they're running the same version of MIDAS. Cloud-hosted editions will always be running the latest version of MIDAS.
Therefore in order to migrate to/from a cloud-hosted system to a self-hosted system, the self-hosted system must also be running the latest version of MIDAS.
Please also note that migrating between editions of MIDAS may incur a small administrative/data migration fee where applicable.
