Why is the pending booking requests screen empty, and I'm not receiving notifications of new requests?In MIDAS v4, we introduced a new venue "Managers" setting, which allows you to configure booking requests for different rooms to go to different administrators for approval.
For example, you may want booking requests for your sports facilities to go to your sports facilities coordinator, and booking requests for general meeting rooms to go to your office administrator.
If you have been granted the user permission to "process web requests", but have not also been assigned as a "Manager" for any venues, you will not receive notifications of new requests, and no requests will be shown on your "Pending Booking Requests" screen.
You will only receive notifications, and your "Pending Booking Requests" screen will only show you booking requests, for the venues to which you have been assigned a "Manager".
You can assign "Managers" to venues via MIDAS Admin Options → Manage Venues → [select venue] → Managers
Finally, if you're still not receiving email notifications, please check your spam folder, as it may be possible that the automated notifications that MIDAS send are being incorrectly interpreted as junk. If so, you may need to "whitelist" the email address from which automated MIDAS notifications are being sent from to ensure that subsequent notifications appear in your Inbox, and not your junk folder!
