I've limited the IP addresses that can access MIDAS, and now I can't get in!

If you've limited access to your MIDAS to a specific IP/range of IP's, you will not be able to access your room and resource scheduling system if your current IP address doesn't match the IP address/range you've setup in the software.

If you do not have a static IP address, and your computer's IP address has changed, then unless you can change your own IP address to one that is within the accepted range, or access your MIDAS from another computer with an accepted IP address, you can remove the IP restrictions and restore access by using our quick and easy online self service tool

If however you wish to restore access manually, you will need to locate and open your "midasglobal" configuration file in a text editor, and in the <security> section, update the <allowedip> setting to read "*.*.*.*" (no quotes)

Save the changes to the file back to your server, reload MIDAS in your web browser, and full access should be restored!
