What happens to my data when my trial ends?
If you subscribe before your trial expires
If you go on to purchase or subscribe to MIDAS before your 30-day trial period ends, you can request that the data and settings you've configured in your trial system be carried across to your new MIDAS system. Simply let us know when you purchase and we'll transfer everything over for you.
For cloud-hosted subscriptions, your new system will be set up at your chosen *.mid.as URL, which will be different from the URL of your trial system.
If your trial expires before you subscribe
If your trial period ends without you subscribing, your trial system will be suspended. Your data is not immediately deleted - it persists in the trial database until that trial slot is reused for another prospective customer's trial. We cannot guarantee how long this will be, so you should not rely on data being recoverable after your trial has expired.
If you subsequently decide to subscribe after your trial has expired, please contact us and we'll let you know whether your trial data is still available to transfer. If it is no longer available, you'll simply start fresh with a clean system.
Data you entered during your trial
Any data entered into your trial system - including venues, users, booking types, resources, templates, and any bookings you created for testing purposes - is covered by our Data Retention Policy and handled in accordance with our Trial Terms & Conditions.
You should not enter genuine personal data (such as real client or staff details) into a trial system unless you are satisfied with these policies. Trial systems are intended for evaluation purposes only.
