The MIDAS MCP Server: Allow AI agents interact with MIDAS

The optional MIDAS MCP Server add-on allows an AI assistant to interact with your MIDAS system on your behalf, through natural conversation, rather than through the usual web browser interface.

What can the MIDAS MCP Server do?

You could simply ask your AI assistant things like:

• "Is the Boardroom free tomorrow afternoon?"
• "Book the Studio 1 room from 2pm to 4pm on Friday for a client meeting."
• "Show me all bookings for Meeting Room 3 next week."
• "Generate an invoice for all of last month's confirmed bookings for Acme Ltd."
• "Who is the client with the email address [email protected]?"

The AI assistant translates these requests into calls to the MIDAS MCP Server, which then reads from, or writes to, your MIDAS database, and returns a plain-English answer.

Which AI assistants are supported?

MCP (Model Context Protocol)-compatible platforms, such as:

• ChatGPT
• Claude
• Cursor
• Google Gemini

How to get the MCP Server add-on

Existing customers running MIDAS v4.43 (or later) can add the MCP Server add-on to their MIDAS system via the upgrade page.

New customers may include the MCP Server add-on at time of purchase, or add it to their MIDAS at a later date.

Once the MCP Server add-on has been purchased, it will then become available for one-click installation within the software via MIDAS Admin Options → Addons.
