MCP Server settings may be accessed via MIDAS Admin Options → Addons → MCP Server.

The MIDAS MCP Server settings screen (MIDAS Admin Options → Addons → Installed Addons → MCP Server)

From this screen you can configure the MIDAS MCP Server settings...

Enable MCP Server

This box enables or disables the MIDAS MCP server. When disabled, AI agents will not be able to interface with your MIDAS booking system.

Read Only Access

If enabled, AI agents will only be able to query data in your MIDAS system - they will not be able to make any changes.
If disabled, AI agents will not only be able to read data from your MIDAS system, they will also be able to make changes too (such as adding or deleting bookings).

Log changes to Recent Activity Log

If enabled, then actions performed by the MCP Server which change data in your MIDAS system, will be recorded in the Recent Activity log.
If disabled, then no MCP activity will be recorded in the Recent Activity Log (not recommended).

Read-only actions performed by the MCP are never recorded to the Recent Activity Log

Allowed IP Range

This setting allows restricting connections to the MCP server to specific IP addresses or IP Ranges. If your AI agent connects from a fixed IP address, list it here (one entry per line). Leaving this setting blank will allow connections fro any IP/Range.

MCP Endpoint URL

The is the URL that you'll need to configure your AI assistant/agent to connect to. For more information, please see installation and setup.

Rotate MCP Key

Use this button to invalidate the current MCP key and generate a new replacement key.

After rotating an MCP key, you'll need to update your AI assistant's configuration with the new key
