Recurring Booking

What is a Recurring Booking?

A recurring booking is a reservation that automatically repeats on a regular schedule, such as the same room being booked every week, month, or year.

For example, if a yoga class books a village hall every Monday night, that is a recurring booking. Likewise, if a board of directors books a meeting room on the first Tuesday of every month, that too is a recurring booking.

What are recurring bookings also called?

Recurring bookings are sometimes also known as "regular", "repeat", or "repetitive" bookings. Whatever you call them, they can usually be set up to repeat on a defined schedule, such as daily, weekly, or monthly, and can be modified or cancelled at any time.

How does MIDAS handle recurring bookings?

Our MIDAS scheduling software fully supports scheduling recurring bookings. Rather than entering the same booking over and over, you set the first date, choose how often it should repeat, and MIDAS instantly creates the whole series for you - saving time and avoiding double bookings.
