Custom Booking & Client Fields
The system captures information about your bookings and clients through a series of "fields".
Standard booking fields include; Date, Venue, Times, Client/Organization, Attendees, Booking Type, Booking Notes, and Resources.
Standard client fields include; Client, Organization, Email address, Postal address, Phone, Fax, Cell, and Client Notes.
Most standard booking and client fields can be readily turned off or on, and set to be optional or required.
In addition, in MIDAS you can also create your own custom booking and client fields. This allows you to capture additional booking or client information beyond what can be captures by the standard fields.
A range of custom field types are available, including; single-line or multi-line text inputs, number inputs, check (tick) boxes, drop-down lists, range sliders, URL inputs, and file uploads.
A custom field upload field (only available in self-hosted editions) allows you to upload and attach files to your bookings or client records.
Each custom field can have a description, and additional options can also be set, based upon the type of field. For example, you can set a maximum number of characters that can be typed into a custom text field, or select a default option from a custom drop-down list.
But custom field support doesn't end there! MIDAS also allows you limit which user(s) each of your custom fields are shown to.
You can also configure whether custom fields are searchable, whether they appear on printouts, and whether they're available in the public-facing features of MIDAS.
