Send Booking Confirmations

Booking Confirmation Emails in MIDAS

Once a booking is confirmed, your client should hear about it promptly - and that confirmation should include the right information without your staff having to write it manually each time. MIDAS can send booking confirmation emails automatically, using a template you control.

What gets sent

When a booking is saved (or when a public booking request is approved), MIDAS can send an email confirmation to the client. The email is generated from a customisable template and populated with the actual booking details: the venue, date, start and finish time, attendee count, resources included, and any other fields you choose to include.

Customising the template

The confirmation email template is edited in a WYSIWYG editor or directly as HTML. You can include your organisation's logo, adjust the layout and wording, and add any custom text - payment instructions, location details, parking information, or anything else your clients typically need. Dynamic placeholders pull in the specific details for each booking automatically.

When confirmations are sent

You have control over when confirmation emails go out. They can be triggered automatically when a booking is saved, or sent manually by a staff member after reviewing the booking. For public booking requests, the confirmation goes out when the request is approved.

Confirmations that include invoice details

If invoicing is enabled, the confirmation email can include the invoice number and a link to the online payment portal, so the client has everything they need to pay in one email.
