MIDAS Discord Addon: Obtain a WebHook URL

In order to allow your MIDAS to post notifications to your Discord server, you will need to obtain a Discord WebHook URL.

A 'WebHook' is a unique URL that authorizes your MIDAS system to post notifications directly to your Discord server.

You can obtain a WebHook URL for your Discord server as follows:

1) Login to your Discord account, right-click on your Discord server, and select Server Settings → Integrations.

2) On the Integrations screen, select "Webhooks".

3) Select "New Webook":

4) Give your new Webhook a name (for example "MIDAS"), and select the "channel" within your server that you wish notifications to be posted to (for example #general).

5) Select the "Copy Webhook URL" button to copy your unique WebHook URL to the clipboard. (You'll need to paste this into the Discord addon settings page within MIDAS)
