Rescheduling Bookings in MIDAS
Plans change. A room becomes unavailable, a client needs a different time, a recurring event needs to move to a different day. MIDAS makes rescheduling straightforward - whether you are moving a single booking or need to reorganise several at once.Drag and drop in the booking grid
In the booking grid, you can drag a booking directly to a new time slot or a different room. Unlock the grid by clicking the padlock icon, choose whether you want to move or copy the booking, then drag it to where it needs to go. MIDAS checks availability in the new slot before confirming the change.Editing booking details
Opening any booking gives you a form where all the details can be changed - date, time, venue, attendees, resources, and any custom fields. Changes are reflected immediately in the booking grid and in the booking's audit history.Recurring series
When modifying a booking that is part of a recurring series, MIDAS asks whether you want to update just that occurrence or all future occurrences in the series. This makes it easy to handle a one-off exception - say, a weekly meeting that needs to move one week because of a bank holiday - without altering the entire series.Audit trail
Every change to a booking is logged. The booking's history shows what was changed, when, and by whom. If a rescheduled booking causes confusion later, you can trace exactly what happened and when the change was made.Notification of changes
