I can access MIDAS fine on the server itself, but when I try to access from another computer, but the layout is all wrong, and there are no images/colors on the login screen

This issue is most commonly due to incorrect settings entered during installation.

For example, if during installation, you specified that the URL at which your MIDAS could be reached was http://localhost/midas, or http://127.0.0.1/midas - "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" are both local URL's referring to the particular server upon which you installed the software - these would allow MIDAS to function correctly from that server alone, but not from any other connected computers.

Similarly, if during installation, you've specified that your MIDAS can be accessed via http://192.168.0.1/midas (i.e. within your own local intranet), only other "local" computers will be able to reach your MIDAS.

Therefore, if you require both other local and external users to be able to connect to your scheduling system, you will need to use the external IP/domain name of the server where your MIDAS resides, rather than the local/internal address/url in order to allow remote connections.

Please use our simple online self service tool to correct your settings to reflect the external address/IP of your server.

With the correct external address/URL to your MIDAS applied, you should then be able to successfully access MIDAS from other computers.
