MIDAS Case Studies
| The Car Rental Company | ||
A company owning a small fleet of vehicles was interested in cutting down on their paperwork, and moving to a computerized system for managing their vehicle fleet. Using a straight forward "Language Pack" swap, "venues" in MIDAS, were instantly transformed into "vehicles", and "attendees" became "passengers". The company also made use of "filters" within MIDAS to group similar vehicle types together; 3-door, 5-door, transit vans, etc.

| The Restaurant | ||
A large and busy restaurant approached us to see if our MIDAS software could meet their needs. Whilst they weren't needing to book out entire "rooms" as such, they did want to book individual "tables" within their restaurant. We developed a plug-in "Language Pack", which substituted "venues" for "tables" and "attendees" for "diners". The restaurant made good use of MIDAS' "Add Resources" functions, to allow high-chairs for toddlers to be reserved when tables were being booked!

| The Bowling Alley | ||
Many ten-pin bowling alleys allow bowlers to "pre-book" lanes. MIDAS has been easily adapted to allow booking of such lanes. With color-coded booking types denoting private bookings or regular league matches, staff can quickly see at a glance who they've got in each night... and for those "beginner" bowlers, "bumper" lanes can also be reserved for their games, via MIDAS' customizable "Resource" options.
